Last weekend a significant event was held at Mijilmilmyia outstation, where thirteen young men came out from bush. Coming out ceremony happened at Mijilmilmyia, where family and friends gathered to bring the young men’s out from bush. Many family and friends came to the event from across the Kimberley region and southern parts of WA to take part in bringing them out, and to supporting and experiencing for the first time aboriginal cultural lore ceremony.

Karajarri has strong obligation to culture and one of many important cultural value is passing on cultural knowledge to the younger generation.
